Eddie was born in Brooklyn NY on April the third in 1961. His real name is Edward Regan Murphy. His education: Rooseveldt Jr.,-Sr.High School. At the age of 15 Eddie Murphy began his acting career as a stand-up comedian. In 1980 he began performing at the "Saturday Night Live" Show. He did parodies of Bill Cosby, Stevie Wonder, Buckweat, James Brown etc. He kept on doing Saturday Night Live for four years. Then in 1982 he began his film-career with the film 48 Hrs. He played together with Nick Nolte and it was a huge succes. Eddie Murphy is also a producer, director, screenwriter and singer. Eddie has released three albums: How Could It Be, So Happy and Love's Alright.
