THE HISTORY

Born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou on June 25th, 1963, Baby George grew up in Northern London with his parents and two older sisters, Yioda & Melanie. Loving music from the very beginning, Yog tried out several different bands through the years of school, but in the end Wham! turned out to be the more succesful one.

Andrew Ridgeley & George soon became famous all over the world and managed to release three albums before splitting up in 1986. "Fantastic" was the first one, followed up by "Make It Big" and finally "The Final/Music From The Edge Of Heaven."

George kept on working with his music, and soon "Faith," the first solo-album was released. Huge succes worldwide - a new, bright superstar was born!

"Faith" was followed up by "Listen Without Prejudice" three years later, and in 1996 "Older" came out. After a quiet period of 6 years, George was back - as excellent as ever!
He had been through many difficult situations with terrible losses along the way, and yet he still managed to spellbind people all over the world with his music - that, to me, is truly amazing and proves his great strength with his life & career.

A Greatest Hits compilation saw the light of day in 1998 - and of course "Ladies & Gentlemen" went straight to the top of hit charts all over the world. Lots of goodies from the past + three completely new tracks - George seems to be in great shape!
