The Internet is, in my opinion, the best way to know about Vangelis. Here are the "major," highly recommended sites:

* The Direct Mailing List Homepage - This page is where you will see members of the one of the major places where Vangelis fans can meet, discuss and debate about Vangelis (created by Gabi)

* The "Elsewhere" Vangelis Site - This one is excellent for both starters and those who want to be "really" into Vangelis (created by Dennis Lodewjiks).

* The Greek Home of Vangelis - This page contains a chat room, some nice interviews and an opportunity to "write to Vangelis" (actually, the messages are delivered to Vangelis' brother, Niko Papathanassiou and then they are sent to Vangelis). Just find Vangelis you are there... (created and maintained by Andreas Smagadis)

* The Lyrics of Vangelis - This page is responsible for the lyrics of some of Vangelis' work. An excellent idea for if you ever listened to Vangelis and tried to figure out what they are saying (created by Henk Engelen).

* Norwegian Vangelis Site - Of course, I recommend this site if you know Norwegian (created by Morten Stenshorne).

* Trehantiri Music Vangelis Site - Looking for rare Vangelis albums (especially the ones that are sold in Greece)? This is definitely the spot (created and maintained by Trehantiri Music).

* Uncle Don's Collector's Corner - This is a comprehensive guide to the different releases of Vangelis. If you are the kind who likes Vangelis and/or record collecting, this site is definitely worth a look (created and maintained by Don Fennimore).

* Vangelis America - This site will review Vangelis' career and music from an American standpoint for Americans. It also inculdes a "trader page" where you can exchange Vangelis items (created by Anthony Novo).

The Vangelis Film-Score Homepage - This site explains some of the film scores (inculding the Rossif films) that Vangelis has done (created by Mark Ewert)

* Vangelis' Odyssey - This page is where you can find information about Vangelis' rare albums including bootlegs and private releases. You'll find other things inculding rare pictures (Created by Antas).

* The Vangelis Project - This is where you find some of Vangelis' rarest of the rare works and reveals some of the interesting sides of Vangelis (created by Nathan Soice).

* Vangelis: Reflections - This site contains information about the first multimedia CD-ROM application devoted to Vangelis (created by LightNet Multimedia).

* Vangelis Webring - There is a webring of Vangelis sites (a "webring" is a collection of independent sites "grouped" together by a common topic) and this is where you get the list of good sites (maintained by Antas, Dennis Lodewjiks and Henk Engelen).

VangelisWorld - This is the official site of Vangelis. Even after nearly two years of being on-line, it still under heavy construction. However, it is very exciting for us Vangelis fans because Vangelis monitors what goes on.

* The Vangelis WWW Page - This site is an excellent one and a strong recommendation to anyone (created by Michael Perkhofer).
