One can find on this album the evolution of
a style through the compositions and the improvisation of the musicians.
"Neuville", for instance, is a classical representation of the jazz tradition.
But an opening towards improvisation occurs in such songs as "Toronto", "De
l'ile aux Grues", "Allez Lou!" and "Introït". All 4 members of the Daniel Lessard Ensemble do not hesitate also
to change paths in a very spontaneous matter, individually and collectively. One can
therefore feel the unique and dancing movement on which Daniel Lessard has worked for
several years and that he can now offer to the music lover.
With Pierre Béluse on drums and percussions, Pierre
Lafrenaye on trumpet, Roberto Murray on tenor saxuphone and Daniell Lessard on double
bass.
