His repertoire is as prodigious as his concert performer's career, its spectre ranging from classical to modern, jazz to gypsy, popular to folk music of Russia or his native land, Romania. M. Nasturica performed before audiences from all over the world, either in solo or accompanied by symphonic orchestras. The Edith Fay Trio / saxophone, piano, vocals The Edith Fay Trio is a jazz combo that spreads its repertoire to Brazilian rhythms and French songs. Inspired by the 30's, they propose you great standards such as Gershwin's, Porter's and Rodgers'. They also suggest the softness of bossa-nova and the energy of the samba. Vocalist Edith Fay, along with great improvisers François Carrier on alto saxophone and Guillaume Dostaler on piano, take you from lively swing to whispered ballads. Music emerges from mutual listening, and it is that communication and that sensivity that give the Edith Fay Trio its distinctive energy.

Two internationaly acclaimed performers join to bring you the unique experience of Brasil's rhythm and sensuality. Dan Gigon is a Swiss bass player who has been performing in Asia, Europe, North America, Asia and South America. Brasilian singer and guitar player Monica Freire is a combination of charm, energy and musicality. Her voice carries the legacy of great Brasilian singers, along with Mr Gigon's brio.

THE DJELEM GROUP
Coming from Eastern Europe, the group DJELEM plays the truly music of gypsies. Music, for them, is a way of keeping their culture alive. Following the ancestral tradition of these travellers, this trio is composed of violonist Sergei TROFANOV, guitarist/singer Anatoli YAKOVENKO and pianist Olivier RADU. Together they play the original gypsy music, captivating the audience while the music works its magic on the soul. This is the stuff music lovers chill out of in heaven!

JACQUES FAUCHER/ pianist, singer

This much experienced artist (30 years) can play it all. From semi-classic to Gershwin, through Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Michel Legrand, M. Faucher literally lives his music, filled with longing and romance. He can also play electric drums, bass and synthesizer all at once. Available also in duo

MÉLANIE GUAY
Melanie Guay / pianist, singer Pop and jazz musical pieces are the ones Melanie Guay really enjoy interpreting the most, while she can promptly adapt herself to many other styles through her experiences and musical study during the last few years.. This Canadian pianist singer always aspire to give her heart and spirit to each piece by incorporating melody, intonation and voice tone. When the ambiance calls for it, she will adjust and vary the orchestration with her personal soul.

Marike / guitar, bass, piano, vocals Fronting this great band is Montreal-born Marike, veteran of Canadian stage and studio scene. Multi- instrumentalist Dan LeBel has 20 years of studio and live experience. Pianist Sylvain Boucher is an up- coming accompanist, writer and arranger with an already established reputation based on his work with somme of Canada's top stars. Mood Indigo / piano, vocals, saxophone, double bass, drums Mood Indigo is a jazz quintet wich offers a blend of sophistication and spirit, combining sultriness of an Ellington melody with the vibrant energy reminiscent of the New York scene of the 50's. These musicians unite their strong musical backgrounds and professional experience in order to offer you a unique musical event covering a wide assortment of styles. Always elegant, Mood Indigo is dedicated to recreating an atmosphere which is invariably memorable. Also available in trio.

A unique, sophisticated blend of voice, guitar and saxophone. The trio's musical repertoire spans many styles, from blues, swing and cool jazz, to bossa nova and classic pop. Kevin Simonar's guitar style provides a warm, solid foundation for Leon Kingstone's spirited saxophone playing. Sienna's passionate, entrancing voice lends an intimate colour to the group's music. A superb entertainer. This Buffalo-born singer, saxophonist and composer has proved himself to be a versatile and talented performer.
