| MARCAURELLE SEXTET: "OPUS 3.8" LC1011 |
| François Marcaurelle's logical follow-up of the last album, although with an added twist: they're six this time. With this new album, François Marcaurelle comes back with an album of great quality thanks to an experienced and well-suited sextet that expresses the splendor of jazz. With an interpretation full of strength and musicality, the sextet plays some of François Marcaurelle's unrecorded compositions. The group is formed by members Richard Beaudet, saxophones and flute; Norman Lachapelle, bass; Muhammad Abdul Al Khabbyr, trombone; Sylvain Provost, guitar; Jim Hillman, drums and François Marcaurelle at the piano. | |
