Released: 1998 Label: G-7 Welcoming Committee

WARNING! this cd contains old, out of print,
hard to find, unreleased, live demo and otherwise painful and embarrassing
crap. Not new crap. Proceed with caution. That's actually
written on the cd! Well I bought it anyway and it turned out to be
an amazing cd. At first, I though it sucked but after listening to
it a couple times, it just got better and better. Some of the songs
are truly messed up and some are awesome. A lot of these songs can
be found in the older cds. The best songs, that are not on the 2
full-length releases, are: "white, proud and stupid, fine day, pigs will
play and gamble". Most of the songs are of pretty good quality so
don't get turned off by the warning label. A couple of the songs
are super-hardcore (ha) so brace yourself just a little. The last
song is not a song, its Propagandhi talking on the side of a street because
their van broke down. The booklet includes lyrics and even excuses
for all the songs. Also it has some info on releases for Propagandhi's
label-G7 Welcoming Committee (make sure you check their site out).
I recommend buying the first two cds before buying this one-Phil
"Less talk, More rock"
Released: 1996 Label: Fat Wreck Chords
Songs: Apparently, I'm a "P.C. fascist" (because I care about both human and non-human animals, Nailing descartes to the wall/(Liquid) meat is still murder, Less talk, more rock, Anchorless, Rio De San Atlanta, Manitoba, A public dis-service announcement from shell, ...and we thought that nation-states were a bad idea, I was a pre-teen McCarthyist, Resisting tyrannical government, Gifts, The only good fascist is a very dead fascist, A people's history of the world, The state-lottery, Refusing to be a man.
Propagandhi's second full-length release. This cd is just like the first except that its more heavy on the lyrics. It seems that in this cd, Propagandhi is really focusing on the message part of their music. It kinda blows your mind when you first open the cd and you see "gay-positive, pro-feminist, animal-friendly and anti-fascist written" on it. But i guess that's just how Propagandhi gets their message. They just say it nice and clear! The music on this cd is amazing. One of my favorite cds for sure. Every song is good and they all sound a little different. There is a good mix of slow and fast songs. One of the songs is actually just Noam Chomsky talking about shit with a cool beat in the background. There is 6 essays in the booklet and they are all pretty interesting. They deal with a lot of shit and even if you don't believe in what they say, you should read it anyway cause there is lots of good points in there. Don't buy this cd just for the music eh? Think about it!- Phil
