Hard-core, loud and pissed off! That's the only way I can describe these guys. This is indeed a pretty heavy cd and is about as hard-core as you can get. I'm not a huge fan of the whole screaming your head off thing but this band still attracts me. This cd though isn't that great. Sure it contains one of the best songs of all-time (Us vs Them) but the rest of the songs aren't too good. The songs don't seem to have a flow to them or a good main chorus. Seems like a bunch of heavy guitars and some screaming. I'll probably still check out their new releases (they are on Fat Wreck Chords now) because hearing the song "Us vs Them" you can tell these guys will keep progressing. I have heard the new stuff and it does sound a lot better. So to sum it up, I wouldn't buy this cd again if I had the chance because there is only one or two good songs. I do recommend this cd to anyone who is all about the hard-core screaming thing though and I definitely recommend paying attention to this bands newer releases-Phil
