SIBERIAN HUSKY
The Complete Siberian Husky - Lorna B. Demidoff and Michael Jennings The classic reference works on the breed written in 1978
I have a used copy yet to read.
********TOP PICK********The New Complete Siberian Husky - Michael Jennings One of the standard reference works to the breed. The updated version of the above book. This is a must read if you have read Kathleen Kanzler's book and you want to get serious in the breed. Kathleen Kanzler and Michael Jennings are Siberian breeders and AKC judges. 273 pages 1992.
The premier book on the breed we love so much. Not surprisingly, the "Show Dogs" take major priority, but there is plenty of history and an interesting chapter on the AKC standard. All in all a Siberian enthusiast must read no matter where your interest lie.
The Siberian Husky Able Athlete, Able Friend - Michael Jennings This is a good book if you want to look into the Siberian Husky more in-depth.
The Siberian Husky - Joan McDonald Brearly Not exactly light reading, but in 512 pages, discusses anything you can imagine about having Siberians in the family.
Running North - Ann Mariah Cook a breeder and a judge. This is a very well written book is a must read if you own a Siberian Husky. This hhighly-rated book tells the story of her family's determination to run the 1,000-mile Yukon Quest.
Hope to read our copy soon.
