History
of the band
Soda Jerk started out
as a group of juveniles getting together when time permitted. We then adopted
our current drummer Kyle.
After many disagreements, we agreeingly split from Kyle. We then recruited
another drummer who sometimes
would fill in for Kyle. His name was Chris Alex. Together with Chris we
played our first real gig. Before we had just played parties. Chris unfortunately
had to move to Florida. The band had then reunited with Kyle (which was
probably a good decision.) This is the way it has been every since then.
Soda
Jerk Thanks:
The Head Honcho upstairs,for
reasons that are self-explanatory, Wayne Toombs for wheelin' and dealin'
with us for our equipment, Donna for putting up with the noise in her garage,
Alline and Joey for giving Andy his first guitar, Kyle's step dad for giving
him his drums, Eric's folks for his equipment, Shane for his help with
the art work, fans, followers, and anyone who wastes their time listening
to us. Oh yeah, and most importantly YOU!
Soda
Jerk: Equipment
We all got new shit....!
Andy uses a Peavey Bandit 112 100-watt combo
amp w/ a Peavey 5150 4x12 cabinet and also a Crate 4x12 cabinet. He also
has a Fender Standard Stratocaster w/ a flame job. He has another Fender
Strat with a chrome Gibson-style humbucker. He uses Dunlop .88mm Tortex
picks.
Eric has a Peavey TKO combo amp. He uses
an Ibanez Ergodyne bass, a Fender Precision bass, and a Series 10 bass.
He uses Dunlop picks w/ the "no slip grip".
Kyle has a Pearl set (along with his little
sparkly one). No cymbals..cuz he busted the one he had all to hell. Yamaha
hi-hat stand, a busted up cymbal stand, Sunlite bass drum pedal, Attack
drumheads, and usually uses Easton drum sticks, but he f#$%ed those up
too! THE END

You guys must hate me for what I've done..I
transfered all the SJ webpage stuff to FortuneCity.com - reason?
We needed more space! It was getting cramped with the 2MB we had
on ArkNet and I don't know about the rest of the guys, but I get clostraphobic
(spelling?). Due to the high bandwidth of FC and since our pages
take a little while to load unless they're already cached somewhere, then
you "hardcore fans" will just have to grab a coke and some Doritos (or
any other snack of choice, Doritos being my personal favorite - Taco Supreme)
while waiting. Don't forget to submit some questions for the FAQ
and sign our guestbook, and other cool stuff like that..if you want to
and if you don't that's fine, too....it just means you SUCK! :-)
