Welcome

Month 1-2

Can't believe that I'm in my second month already, I know the next 7 months are going to fly by. My breasts are heavy and sensitive and I have being peeing like crazy. I have been tired but that's all. I'm not sick, I can eat everything,.. So you don't hear me complain.

Wednesday, September 20th we went to the gyn, we where so excited to see our baby. What we didn't expect is to see two babies!! But it was clear that there where two!! So after the shock we where so happy.
At this point I am 7 weeks. The baby on the right is a little bigger (10.0mm-7w1d) and the left one is 6.2mm-6w3d. You can see the babies at the ultrasounds, just click on them to see the large ultra:

Technically it means that they are not genetically identical, they are called dizygotic twins. They each have their placenta and are not always of the same sex.
When women ovulate two different eggs and they are fertilized at the same time by two different sperm the result is fraternal twins. They have a different genetic make-up although they share the uterus during gestation.
But that's just technical info, the most important thing is that we are so happy and looking forward to hold them in our arms!!

Because we going to have a twin, and I have lost a pregnancy at 4,5 months, we have to go more to the gyn for control. The advantage is that we will see our babies more regularly, the downside is that we are going to need a circlage, what that's all about I explain later
