Month 7-8

Here we are again. Still one week to go this month, but because now i have the time and still capable, I will bring you up-to-date.
On februari 12th we went to the gyn. Everything was ok. The babies are growing good, the baby one the right weighs 1031gr and lies in the good positon (with his head down). The baby one the left weighs 1073gr, but lies with the head up. But there is still a chance the baby will turn.

This month I have been shopping a lot for the babies. Mostly clothes, because I didn't have much small clothes. I have gotten much clothes from Peter's sister and some other people, but none of the smallest size, because for one baby you do not need them. But for twins you need lots of them, so I went shopping and bought a closet full :-))
Every two days I take a bath, not because I'm dirty, but because I relax in the bathtub. Also I lie back in the couch, reading a book or watching tv,.. I read somewhere: ”Don’t forget never stand if you can sit, and never sit if you can lay down.” so that's what I'm doing.
Bed-rest and sleeping is now very difficult. I have to go to the toilet every two hours and if that didn't wake me, I get a cramp in my leg or the babies are kicking, so something will keep me a wake !!! But that's a small prize I have to pay, if you think about the babies, when you can hold them in you arms, all my pain is gone.

Because now we have to go every 14 days to the gyn, we went to dr.Peccue on Februari 23rd. I'm 31 weeks and everything is still going well!! And their chance of being born healthy increases every day!! I'm so glad we made it so far.
Now they're gaining weight faster and are increasing in length, their lungs and digestive system are nearly mature…
They're still in the same position, the right baby with the head down, weighs 1153gr. The left baby has gained more weight: 1515gr, and still lies with the head up. The left baby weighs more, but is smaller, this one has a smaller head and a bigger belly than the right one!! Just the opposite of how they started !!
