Month 9-10

I can't believe that I can still make an update about my pregnancy and not having given birth yet. This months page wasn't foreseen, so I just quickly made it.
I'm now 37.5 weeks pregnant and some things have happened.
The cerclage got removed on april 4th, but there were some complications. Normally it's piece of cake to remove it, but because too much tissue had been formed around the cerclage and the knot was turned toward the inside it turned out to be more difficult than expected. The gyn tried for half an hour but it was too painful. Then they decided to give me local anaesthetic after which the job was fixed in no time.

I had to stay for observation for a night, but got to go home on thursday afternoon, after the necessary checkups (blood pressure, babies' heartrates, ). As long as I don't have any contractions and my water hasn't broken, I didn't have to go back until april 9th. Then I was hooked up to the twin-monitor and they also took some echoes to see if everything was allright, which it was. Next week I have to go back on tuesday for another checkup in case I haven't delivered yet.

It's already wednesday april 11th now, and still nothing happened. It's getting very tough for me now. My feet have swollen, I have cramps in my right hand and my tummy is enormously big. I can't sleep longer than one hour. So, yeah, if I could choose, they would be born now, but I guess we'll just have to wait until they're ready.
