Artist: Iced Earth
CD: Horror Shoe
Label: Century Media
It's Finally Here! The long awaited new CD from Iced Earth is sure to kick your ASS. Iced Earth never seems to fail to deliver cutting edge music... Hailed as one of the best all time Metal Bands by us, the Gods of Metal...
The Opening Track will capture and entrance you. My personal favorite from this CD has to be 'DRACULA'. A song from the first person (being Dracula of course) point of view. This track will take you through the eyes of The Vampire. Each song is a different take on the classic Horror Creatures all of us have grow to love (or fear). Once again I am not disappointed with Iced Earth.

Well some may say, who writes their own review. I say to them get over it. Who better to write a great review than the people involved with the CD. So here we go. Each Artist featured on the First Compilation released from Brother Issak Records is a master of their chosen style of Metal. My hat goes off to each one on the CD. Not only do you have to take my word for it, but if you followed the first annual Gods of Metal Battle of the Bands, then you'd know it to. Over 1000 votes where cast for these Artists.

Artist: Sepultura
CD: Nation
Label Roadrunner Records
Once again Sepultura has not disappointed me! Is there nothing these guys can't do? I have been excited ever since I heard that Sepultura had their Second Album coming out new singer Derrick Green (Hell I even wrote about it in my newsletter), what a phenomenal Vocalist. Roadrunner Records gave me the opportunity to review this Album before it hits the stores March 20, 2001. What a musical adventure this album was to listen to. From the opening track, Sepulnation, with it's opening power, to The Ways Of Faith, finally ending with the blessedly sweet song, Valtio, Sepultura will bring new fans into the Metal Fold! Each track from Nation is sure to be a hit. Gods of Metal highly recommends this Album!

Artist: W.A.S.P.
CD: Unholy Terror
Label: Metal-Is Records
Wow, every year I look forward to a new W.A.S.P. Album. Some years I'm a little disapointed with the release, but this is not the case this year. Blackie Lawless has put together an album many will be reminded of the Headless Child, yet much, much heavier. There is no reson you should not go out and purchase this CD. Songs such as, Charisma and Loco-Motive Man will peal apart layers of your soul, as set free the maddness hidden deep.

Gods of Metal
Artist: Canyon Creep
CD: Hijack the World
Label: N/A
Well what can I say about these guys. I am a long time fan of Canyon Creep. Many of you have either listened or you purchased the Gods of Metal Compilation, Ferocity, so most of you have heard Canyon Creep's song 'Hijack the World'. Well if you thought that was a good song, then in the immortal words, 'You've Got Another Thing Coming'.
Canyon Creep has proved to the world that Dark, Powerful Grooves still mesh in the modern world of Hard Rock/Metal. Anthony (Tony) Buhagiar has a style all his own in the Vocal Arena as well as an outstanding flair for the Guitar, backing Tony on Bass we find Dave V. This man can pound out a hell of a rhythm on his four string. Bringing out the heavyset thunderous backbone of this trio we find Jerry Rivera.
I have never had the chance to see these guys yet, but I can only imagine the energy these guys take with them to the stage. What I'm tring to tell you people is GET THIS CD, PLAY IT LOUD, AND BE PERPARED TO OFFEND YOU NEIGHBER'S EARS WITH PURE ROCK 'n' ROLL.

Best Fear factory Album to date! I found phenomenal musicianship through out each and every track. Long time fans as well as new fans are sure to be as excited as I am about this new release. Big congratulations should go out to Fear Factory for their effort on this album. Never have I heard Fear Factory put out such superb music. Artist: HemorRhage
CD: Wake Up
Label: Crippled Rich Music
1999
This is one of the Best CDs I have ever had the pleasure of Reviewing. HemoRhage is a shining example of an Artist who knows what they want to play. Honestly I found tracks such as 'The Wait', 'You're Pushing Me', and 'Come Home' to be the best on this CD. Each and every song on the CD is unique though. Pounding Percussion drive the backbone of this Artist. Vocally, Rich Stahle will take the listener from head-pounding to harmonious metal. Rich also handles the bass with the greatest of ease. Taking the Lead on Guitar, Al Veolus performs a viscous assault on the senses. Mack Duff contributes the same assault. Shabbs takes the percussion on this CD beyond the standard Metal Drumming.
HemoRhage has taken Metal to a new level, Combining Funky Beats with a Bluesy Jazzy. HemoRhage truly is a 'God of Metal'. If you are looking for an Album you will never forget, then this is the one for you.

Gods of Metal Creator
As you may know by listening to the Gods of Metal, Mr. Nasty is one of our favorite bands. The song Hardline has never left our play list. Mr. Nasty brings back the gritty bar sound to the forefront of the underground Metal scene. Although Mr. Nasty is not truly a Metal Act, we are proud to feature Mr. Nasty as a true God of Rock! Every song off of this album is sure to pump pure energy out of your speaker for your next party!
