Self Proclaimed as a '3-pieace, high-energy rock and roll. Big Fat, vintage guitar and bass tones with thundering drums. HEAVY music that grooves', these guys aren't just bragging, they are the real thing.

Not only are these guys great musicians, I have had the opertunity to work with Dave (Bass) over the last few weeks, and I have to say Canyon Creep have been a joy to work with.

Canyon Creep have a new CD and it's called `HIJACK THE WORLD!. It was
produced and Engineered by the legendary Billy Anderson, who has
recorded such acts as Sleep, The Melvin's, Mr. Bungle, and High on
Fire. The sound of the CD is Heavy, Raw, and Loud.

Sound familiar? Not really. At least not at this time. In a world
where boring, corporate rock is king, CANYON CREEP serve up 8
original tunes that pump your adrenaline the way bands like
Motorhead, Black Sabbath, and The Stooges use to do. But, HIJACK THE
WORLD! Is not simply a rehash of old styles. It is the culmination of
influences both old and new to create a fresh sound that is genuine.
The CD also backs up the belief of the band (a notion often forgotten
in today's music!) that there was life before Nirvana.

I believe that Weedstock 2001 was organized by Eric Hagen of Greenhouse Effect, but I may be wrong. Whoever put this event on is a bonafied genius though. Even if you didn`t see this show this fact should be obvious based solely on the killer line-up of kick-ass heavy rock bands which consisted of Operator Generator, Acid King, Gammera, Greenhouse Effect, Canyon Creep, Cold Mourning and El Buzzard.  - Read more at Stonerock.com
