Geddy Lee Weinrib was born on July 29, 1953 in Canada. Geddy is married to his wife, Nancy, and
has 2 children: Julian, and Kyla. He originally joined
Alex's band as a guitarist, but soon after made the jump to bass. He also
then became the lead singer. Geddy has recieved a number of awards for his
outstanding playing, including: Guitar Player's Bass Hall of Fame,
Bass Player Best Rock Bass Player. Along with Rush he has 8 Juno
awards and 2 grammy nominations. He also recieved, along with Rush, the
Order of Canada in January, 1997.
