Here I go again
I hear the trumpet blow again
I'm all aglow again
Takin' a chance on love

Here I slide again
About to take that ride again
All starry-eyed again
Takin' a chance on love

 I thought the cards were a frame-up I never would tie
 But now I'm takin' the game up and the ace of hearts is high

Things're mendin' now
I see a rainbow blendin' now
We'll have a happy endin' now
Takin' a chance on love

<instrumental first line>
I hear the trumpet blow again
<instrumental third line>
Takin' a chance on love

<instrumental first line>
Here I slide again
<instrumental third line>
Takin' a chance on love

 I walk around with a horseshoe, in clover I lie
 And, Mister Rabbit, of course you better kiss your foot goodbye

I'm on the ball again
I'm ridin' for a fall again
I'm gonna give my all again
I'm takin' a chance
I'm takin' a chance
I'm takin' a chance on love!!
