Sandra Bullock Biography
 
Sandra Annette Bullock was born on July 26, 1964 in Arlington, Virginia to a German opera singer and a American voice teacher. She would often perform in the children's chorus of whatever production her mother was in. (That singing talent would later come in use for her role of an aspiring country singer in The Thing Called Love ). She was educated at Washington-Lee High School and at East Carolina University, where she majored in drama. Shortly thereafter she moved to New York to pursue a career on the stage. This led to acting in television programs and then feature films. In 1987 She got a part in a movie called Hangmen. Her next two appearences were TV-movies in 1989 called Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman and The Preppie Murder. In addition to this she landed the leading part in the never popular TV version of the comedy hit Working Girl (1990). From 1989 til 1993 she appeared in such films as Who Shot Patakango? (1990) and Love Potion No. 9 (1992). Those movies didn't do any big succes. But in 1993 she turned her career around. First she co-stared with Sylvester Stallone in a satirical science-fiction movie called Demolition Man. Later the same year she got her breakthru role on a bus with Keanu Reeves in the blockbuster hit Speed. With that and her appearance in While You Were Sleeping (1995) and Two If By Sea (1996) she underlined her position as one of Hollywood's leading contenders for the title of "America's Sweetheart". Since that she has made a lots of succesful movies (like The Net in 1995) and won a lots of different awards. Nowadays she lives in Austin, Texas (Also has houses in few other places like Hollywood and Wyoming) and is one of the brightest female stars in Hollywood.
 
How did I became a fan of Sandra Bullock?
 
I have known Sandy as an actress for a long time from movies like Demolition Man and Speed (I am a big fan of action movies), but I really became a fan of her just a couple of years ago. It happened when I saw While You Were Sleeping on TV in 1997. It totally kicked my ass off. It's still one of my favorite movies and I really like Sandy's appearance in it ("The Girl Next Door"-look). I think that movie really represents the way she's pretty. I like when she's naturally beautiful... because that's really what she is. The funniest part is, that before I saw that movie, I would never thought that I would ever like any kind of drama movies. Well... I do now :) At that time I also started to collect all kind of stuff and information about her from the internet and other medias. That way I have became more familiar with her personality. She seems to be a really kind person (So kind that I think she's worth of a website... so I did this to her...:). I have seen only about third part of her movies (which however is enough to prove me what Sandy is...) because they don't show much those earlier movies (before Demolition Man, when she wasn't a big star yet) on TV (They are rare even in the video stores). Maybe someday I've seen them all... That's a good challenge for me. Well... Is there anything more to say... Sandra Annette Bullock - Aren't those words speaking for themselves? If not... Watch a couple of her movies and you'll see that it's impossible to resist her cute smile :)
