Pete !!
Pete Kouklakis - Pete is an original member and founder of the Four Townsmen.
He sings the tenor vocals of the group. Pete loves the oldies and entertaining the crowds. He is the manager of a local Shop-N-Save grocery store and is married to his lovely wife Janet .
Janet and Pete enjoy camping and an occasionally visiting Las Vegas Nevada.
Louie !!
Lou Gadani -Lou is also an original member and co-founder of
the group. He sings the bass vocals. Lou and his wife Cheryl , have two sons and recently a new
daughter -in- law. They spend weekends by the pool and enjoy fine dining. Lou is self employed in the
printing and marketing industry.
Huggy !!
Hug McKinney - Piano-Keyboard
Huggy joined the group in 1998 and became a part of The Four Townsmen's reunion.
He is the lead vocalist and keyboardist .
His past musical endeavors include the bands, DAYSTAR, VOYAGER, BEYOND TIME and JOHNSON&JOHNSON. He is a five time recording artist and a accomplished songwriter.
Hug is married to a wondeful young lady, Deena. Deena is a bussiness manager and homemaker.
Hug and Deena's just became proud parents of a gorgeous little girl, "Jaden Elizabeth". Together , they enjoy
vacationing to the mountains, bar-b-ques, and visits to the zoo.
Nevin VanRiper - Bass guitar / vocals
Nevin Van Riper, more affectionately known as "Freebird" became the newest member of
The Four Townsmen in the spring of 2003. Hailing from lil' Washington, Nevin maintains
a family, a singing career and also is a full time construction worker. His musical past includes country
and southern gospel avenues and he even played a little rock-n-roll from time to time. Some folks
may say that Freebird seems to be tapped into a live wire , his personality is filled with humor
and his smile is the confirmation that he always has something up his sleeve!! Presently, Nevin is
continuing his education in the criminal justice field and soon hopes to expand his horizons in a
new proffession. Along with his wife and daughter, the VanRipers enjoy dining out, vacationing and
concerts in the park!
Meet the Music
Tom Battaglia
Tom is the heart of the Four Townsmen's music. He is a
multi-talented musician, playing the saxophone and keyboards
for the band. Tom arranges and sequences all of the songs and
then serves as a double agent on stage, adding his smooth sax
sounds to the project. He also plays out and about with other
local Pittsburgh musicians and is a member of "Freeze" . A
special "Thanks !"is in order, for this fine musician.

Pete " I got The Beat" Povich
Pete is the true essence of a
"man behind the music"! His years of developing a perfect ear for music
has surely paid off for the benefit of The Four Townsmen. Since Pete has been
at the helm of our technical mandates, the music and vocals
have never sounded better!! Not only does he aide us in a perfect concert
enviroment and continues to be the voice of Washington County at
WJPA 95.3 FM, he is also brings smile to the fans and listeners at
the Four Townsmen concerts. The folks just seem to fall in love with this guy!!
