Kim Carnes is the featured performer in this
highlight from the Bruce Holloway Benefit Concert. A
songwriter and musician from Australia, Bruce was
tragically killed by a drunk driver in May of 2009.
His fiance, Mary Loving, hosted a benefit concert in
his honor where hundreds of Bruce's friends and
co-writers shared the stage for an evening of great
music and "Bruce" stories. Lil'rooster productions
was called on to capture the evening on film and
create an hour long show for Australian broadcast.
Kim did "Still Warmed By The Thrill" (from
her last album "Chasin' Wild Trains") and the
smash hit "Bette Davis Eyes".

Recently, at the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Ms. Carnes performed a gorgeous version of Ms. Berg’s hit song "Strawberry Wine" in that wonderful, whiskey soaked voice of hers. Berg was inducted into the Hall of Fame that Evening and it is no small wonder as to why with songs like these: "Wild Angels," "Hey Cinderella," "We Danced Anyway," "You Can Feel Bad," "X’s and O’s". . . Joining Berg and Carnes (who also sang the unforgettable 'Bette Davis Eyes"!! And wrote "The Heart Don’t Lie" and "Don’t Fall In Love With a Dreamer") will be joined tonight by the always fun and funky Cooper ("Right Out Loud," "Bird On the Wing," "Sit This One Out") and guitar/mandolin playing extraordinaire Panda.
