Well, I first heard about the concert in, I think it was March. z100, the local radio station, were talking about it.
They said that tickets would go on sale that Saturday. So, I begged my dad to let me go. And he said yes.
But I soon found
out that in order to go, you needed a parent The only stupid (hehe) thing that my dad did
is he only ordered 4 tix.
So it was me, my mom, and my two other friends.
So anyways, as the summer wound down I started to get more and more excited.
We had good seats and I wanted to have a blast!
So that day my friends and I painted I luv BSB, KTBSPA and a bunch of
other things on ourselves.
We left two hours before the show was to start. I had made a huge poster so I taped it on the car.
Once we got into the area everyone's music was pumping. I turned on Backstreet's Back and we all sang along.
Then we got there and saw a bunch of people we knew. So we go in, get our seats, get some merchandise (identical
tee's, keychains and posters) and go back to our seats. We were waiting for awhile and were thirsty so we got some soda,
just so happens it started when we left. No biggie. It was only the opening act.
I forget that girls name. But she sings "Can't we try just a little bit harder (la de da i don't know the words) and "In a dream my love"
you know. And then Aaron Carter. oh boy what a sweetie. He had a little girl in a chair and he's singing
"I got a Crush on you!!!" I was like "awww" but anyways this dude finally goes "And now my buds B-ROK, Nick, Kev, Howie D, and AJ!"
Of course thunderous applause. I thought my eardrums were gunna brake. I swear. And then the concert really began.
I swear I have never exerienced anything like it. People were crying, fainting, screaming the works. All I could do was cry.
It was amazing. Then when they sang I'll Never Brake Your Hear, I began a wave and Brian spotted me so he waved and motioned for everyone to do it.
That rocked. It was awesome. The whole thing was unbelievable.
They were so funny. They did the whole bit with the instruments and stuff. And That's What She Said made me cry.
Nick looked HOT, they all did! Then, I thought they weren't gunna do Everybody, cause they left like it was over.
But of course they came through. That was awesome! So many fans were crammed into there that night.
So then afterwards we decided not to track them down, but go home. After all tht, the night was over in a flash.
But now I've got so much to look forward to. The Millenium Concert (whenever it comes) will be excellent! I bet! KTBSPA!

Okay, I went to a BSB concert on August 28, 1998 and it was the best. Aaron, Nick's little brother, opened up for them singing 3 of his songs. When BSB finally came out, fire shot up behind them as AJ started to sing "That's The Way I Like It." They danced and danced and don't forget, they sang their songs. They were awesome!
When it was time for them to sing "Quit Playing Games," the band kept messing them up on purpose so they decided that they would play themselves. AJ and Howie on guitar, Kevin on keyboard, Brian on bongos, and of course Nick on drums. Before Nick went to his drums, he took his red shirt off and had his tank-top ONLY! I was so surprised, but I enjoyed it. They played their song and introduced their band.
At the very end, "Backstreet's Back" was sang. They all came out in coffins. That was the song where Nick just became really expressive. He pulled down his zipper as he sang "am I sexual?" It was the best concert of my life.
I enjoyed it very much and I hope you enjoyed reading about it as I enjoyed explaining it.

Concert Date: August 25th, 1998
Concert Location: Halifax, NS. Canada
I attended the concert on August 25th, 1998 at the Halifax Citadel in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I had such an incredible time. Some of my memories of the concert I went to last December are a bit fuzzy now, but I wanted to remember this one forever. And I want to tell everyone else about my wonderful day too.
I went to the concert with my best friend Jenn, and her cousin Cheryl. Jenn?s dad dropped us off at four (the gates were supposed to open at three) We looked at the line and groaned. We sat down at the Metro Centre (across the street) so we would be able to see when the line moved. We were there for over fifteen minutes, and it didn?t. We decided we?d go for a walk and see how far the line went. It didn?t stop, it went all the way around Citadel Hill! We decided we?d walk back down to the Metro Centre. On the way down we stopped where some rickshaw drivers were explaining how the gates and line-ups worked. We ended up on the rickshaw ride from h-ll. It was so scary!
The rest of what happened isn?t really important; we butted in line and made it onto the grounds around six.
The opening acts came on around seven. We couldn?t see them. Emjay (little skinny
twenty-something who sings dance tunes) was first. We couldn?t see her. Then Aaron Carter came on. We couldn?t really see him either. Every so often he?d dance a certain way and I could see his hair swing through the crowd. But Dara Burke was sitting on her brothers shoulders (their parents are friends with mine) and I got her to take a picture for me.
After Aaron was done the guy from C100 (radio station) informed us that there would be a half an hour before the Backstreet Boys came on. Ugh. We went and got some food. (I got cheese popcorn, yummy!)
We had a better view of the stage after we got our munchies, but the view still wasn?t great. There was a cute little girl sitting on her dad?s shoulders next to us. I got her to take some pictures for me. She was so sweet! When they moved closer she gave me my camera back and I gave her my Nick Carter button I had on my bag.
The first song they sang was That?s The Way I Like It. Then they played Hey! Mr. DJ. After that they did little solos. Howie did one called My Heart Stays With You. It was so beautiful! He threw white roses and when he was done all this confetti came pouring down that looked like rose petals. Brian did That?s What She Said, acoustic. Like he played guitar, and they had bongo drums accompanying him and stuff. Nick sang Heaven In Your Eyes (Or whatever it?s called now) It was hard to hear him, there was so much screaming! He looked good though. Kevin sang Nobody But You, which is on the Quit Playing Games single. I was singing along and Jenn couldn?t figure out how I knew the words. AJ wasn?t performing because of the ligaments he pulled rehearsing in
Toronto.
They sang Let?s Have A Party next. That?s when my film ran out. After Let?s Have A Party they played Quit Playing Games. They played their own instruments for part of it again. Nick played
drums, Brian played bongos, Howie played acoustic guitar and Kevin played keyboards. I
can?t remember the exact order of the next songs, but they played Anywhere For You, Darlin?, All I
Have To Give, As Long As You Love Me (with a really neat saxophone part), 10 000 Promises and I?ll Never Break Your Heart. AJ came out to sing I?ll Never Break Your
Heart with them. Then they disappeared.
People were chanting, Backstreet Boys! Backstreet Boys! They came back out wearing yellow rain
jackets with Nova Scotia tartan in them. A fan had given them the jackets earlier that day. It was
so cute! They sang Get Down and We?ve Got It Goin? on wearing the jackets.
Then they disappeared again. Their grand finale was Backstreet?s Back, of course. At the end they
shot off all these fireworks. It was so bright!
It was mass confusion getting out of there. I mean, 27 000 people trying to get out of two little
gates? It didn?t work. People pushed down fences. People were just pouring out. We walked down
the middle of the street! It was like a parade. I had a fantastic time, and I hope they come back to Halifax sometime soon.

Concert Location: Toronto, Canada
I am 14 years old and I am from Toronto Canada. I attened a BSB concert on..I think..August 22. It was great.
They came out at the beginning by shooting up from under the stage with fire all around them.
When they first came on the stage they welcomed us to their concert and hoped that we had fun. It was Howie D.'s birthday that day, he was turning 25.
They were really great. They made everyone feel so comfortable. Even though half the people were throwing teddy bears
at their heads they didn't care and they let the show go on. Everything was going great until AJ hurt himself and had to leave the concert to go to the hospital.
He hurt his ankle but the other 4 kept the show moving. Kevin sang AJ's parts and it still sounded good.
They sang and danced wicked through out the whole show and didn't even stop for a breather.
So I must say that the BSB concert that I went to was an all around great preformance..and I would not think twice about going to see them again.
So next time they are in your town...take my advice and go see the boys live.

Concert Location: Seattle, USA.
I went to the Backstreet Boys' Seattle concert last August 14, and it was so awesome!!!
The boys have really high energy levels, and it's so fun to watch them and sing along with them!
They sang all their hit songs, and a couple covers. For As Long As You Love Me, they did their chair routine, and
for Everybody, they came out in coffins and showed the video on the big screens!
They each have a really romantic and sweet solo, and then for Quit Playin' Games,
they played the instruments! Also, for Get Down, they came out wearing funny clothes and goggles;
Nick's hair was sticking straight up and it was really cute! :)
Aaron Carter, Jimmy Ray, and S.O.A.P. opened, but I thought Aaron was the best and the cutest!
I would definitely pay $27.50 a hundred times to see them in concert! It was one of the best nights of my life!
I give em' 9 out of five stars!!! *********

Concert Date: March 25, 1998
Concert Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
I was at a concert in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was on march 25th 1998.The opening acts were N Tyce and Thomas Jules Stock. They were great!!!
The first thing that happend was that BSB just kinda "popped" up from the stage floor with fireworks in front
of them so you couldn't really see them.
Then they started singing That's the way I like it and everybody just went wild! So then they sang a few songs
and then they came out one after one and did solos. Nick did Heaven in your eyes,
Howie did My heart stays with you, Kev did Nobody but you, A.J. did Laydown beside me and
Brian did That's what she said.
When Brian sang everybody started to sing along and he looked so happy, since it was his own song, y'know.
Anyway, they sang a few songs and stuff, and then Nick and Brian jumped down and touched the audience.
That was totallt crazy, everybody just screamed and pushed, but it was kinda fun. The coolest part was probably in the end.
The lights were on and people thought it was over. Suddenly the lights went out and fire came up from the stage. It got so hot!
I can't imagine how it felt for the ones who were standing right by the stage! Then the guys were rolled out in caskets!
The guys that had rolled them out were dressed in black capes and had red glowing eyes. They looked scary!
Then they sang Everybody and We've got it going on. Then the whole thing was over.
I'm sorry I can't remember everything that well, but it was a year ago!
A few cool things that happend though, was when this PR guy came out on stage just after N tyce had performed. He was holding this big sheet with a
big smiley face drawn on it, and he said that Nick made it and then he threw it out in the audience.
And during Howie's solo, he threw out roses to the audience. And we saw tons of family members of the guys!
I would probably rate this concert an 11 out of 10! It was amazing!
