Ray Reyes, who was born in New York
replaced Xavier Serbia in 1983. He was considered the chubby Menudo
because when he joined Menudo, Edgardo Diaz put Ray on a strict diet
and his diet was publicized in many spanish magazines. Ray was
replaced by Raymond Acevedo in 1985. The reason given for Ray's
farewell was because he was to tall.

Ray's first album was "A Todo Rock". He
captured his fans heart with his baby face as he sang hits like
"Chicle De Amor", which was on the top of the pop charts in Mexico,
and "Si Tu No Estas". Ray's final album was "Evolucion", where he
sang my favorite song "Persecucion".
