Finally, I brought this section up... Iverson's famed hairdo's and braids. He's had many hairstyles, but he prefers braids. Over the years, he's actually been bald, but he's had fades, afros, braids: cornrows, waves, lines, zigzags, and many other hairstyles. Check it out!

High School: FADE Iverson was sportin' the fade back in his days in high school. This haircut is the most popular in the NBA, but Iverson will most likely not go back to it. The hair is shaved on the sides, and it fades to little hair on the top.

College: CLEAN CUT In college, Iverson pretty much had the same cut since high school. He kept this style for his college years with the Georgetown Hoyas and for the first half of his rookie season with the Sixers.

MINI AFRO Iverson never really wore this during games. As you can see from the pic, he was watching a game, so he decide to let it puff out. Also similar to a fade, but with a LOT more hair, it gradually gets shorter on the sides. Kobe's Bryant's haircut would give you a better idea of a mini afro with a fade.

AFRO Hair EVERYWHERE! Again, he didn't sport this much in many games either. In this pic, he's posing for a photo shoot for the cover of SLAM magazine. This hairstyle was popular in the 70's and 80's when they wore those little short shorts. Thanks to Air Jordan (MJ) who introduced the large baggy shorts, we don't have to watch big tall dudes runnin' around in the court in little boxer shorts. Thank you Jordan!

CORNROWS This is a hairstlye he has worn a lot. Cornrows and straight-line braids are almost the same. Tte term "cornrows comes from the shape of the rows of corn on fields and farms. They're arranged in perfectly

CORN ROWS W/ CROSSES Another modified hairstyle, it was originally cornrows, but crosses were braided into them. This hairstyle is also neat, but he hasn't worn it much. I can see why, it looks like it took a long time to braid.

Like Whoa! Iverson posing for a Reebok ad. Personally, i have NO CLUE what this hairtysle is, but its pretty tight. And again, Iverson doesn't play in this hairstlye. He usually sticks to braids these days. Actually, this hairstyle looks like a mix of braids and mini-dreadlocks. Something Snoop Dogg would probably wear.

WAVES This is one of the better braids. It goes well, its braided in a pattern of waves, and it is also one of Iverson's better hairstyles. He's worn this a lot during his second season with the 76'ers.

WAVY LINE BRAIDS The braids start like corn rows, and then wave in the middle. Then they come down. They're a lot wider than cornrows, very similar to waves.

WAVY ZIGZAG This is a combination of waves and zigzags. It also came out nice. He uses this style once in a while, he hasn't used it a lot. Its also one of my favorites.... pretty tite!

ZIG-ZAG TITE!!!! This hairstyle looks tite a$$ hell. As you can see, they're braided in zig-zags. He's starting to use this hairstyle more. He's used occasionally in the past, and will continue to do so.
