BB King - The name says it all - The king of vibrato, the solo on the Nightlife (Blues is king 1967) finally got me to understand the concept of playing the one note - how many times has BB played with Rock Blues heavyweights and you're thinking he can't possibly top that and bang he does it with the one note but it's the right one. Really the King of the Blues. My favourite albums are Blues is King (see where my love affair with reverb started) and then Live at the Regal, Live at Cook County Jail (how to connect to an audience). I think the one I also studied was the R&B of BB King with his late 50s stuff. Wow. Bass players check out Gerald Jemmot (?) on Live and well. Also this is the first concert with the return of Lucille (1991 Model) to the Stringkiller guitar household.

Not everyone likes their picture taken.
All right all right This is Stephan from the Aengus - All the staff and instrument pictures are taken from The January 22 concert 1999. Except for Lucille of course ;-)
This is Lucille, I sold her last year and Dinky, my wife bought her back for my birthday as a very nice suprise as I really missed Lucille and she was pretty cut up staying away from home.
Play that guitar Faye, a friend from Scotland and Colarado.
