Buddy Guy - I love Buddy's playing and his brand of craziness and humour. The first album I ever got of his was 'A man and the blues' in 66/67. This epitomises the Stratocaster sound for me and I really dug on his phrasing and vibrato. Also Otis Spann was the perfect foil on piano. His later albums 'Feel like rain' and 'Slipping in' are very cool - check out the way he builds a solo up as a little story and the wah wah licks.
