Stringkiller's CD recommendations.Find Albert Collins.
The Iceman, the King of the Telecaster - I only saw Albert once in Paris but he was great, incredible tone, a snappy attack, soft passges to set you up to be icepicked. This guy must have set more backbones than many surgeons :-). All his albums are great but I really like the last live album and the Frosty album. His album with Johnny Copeland and Robert Cray is great. Also among his sideladies(????)/sidemen were Debbie Davis and Coco Montoya, two very tasty singers and guiatrists who both deliver burning tones from their Stratocasters and fingers. If you have heard these people get their CDs - they will change your life.WHat an education theyu must have had being on the road with the Iceman.
