In July of 2000, Double Cross took the stage with 20 other local bands from the region with hopes to gain
the title of " Best Country Band " A local Radio Station WBEE 92.5 FM and The Roost Country Nightclub & BBQ
Hosted a Competition based on performance, material, and overall sound. The Competition was great and in the end
every band new that they did their best. Double Cross was the youngest of all 20 bands and as stated above everything
that this band was based on was put to the test. It paid off, Double Cross and its members took runner up to a Local Band out
of Buffalo,a sister city of Rochester. Yes, out of 20 great bands of the Western New York Region, Double Cross took 2nd place.
For them it was Great. A fan club was created by a loyal follower and it exceeds the bands imagination. The Double Cross fans
are loyal and continue to be at almost every gig played. In November of 2000 the first CD of the Bands was recorded. It carries 8 songs,
7 cover tunes and 1 original. It was done live at PJ's Lounge. The purpose of the CD was for a Demo, However the fans of Double Cross
demanded it for themselves. It is now 2001 and the band is still moving right along. The jobs are continuos and the band only get better
and better. August 24th of this year Double Cross opened up for Nashville recording Artist Cindi Thomson , The Warren Brothers and
Hank William's 3rd. Also in August Double Cross had the opportunity to help a great charity raise some needed funds, The Ronald
McDonald House of Rochester, It was a fun event and we would gladly do it again. In November of this year we did a fundraiser for
Camp S.O.A.R, I love doing things like this, its always good to lend a hand... Double Cross hopes to expand their schedule for 2002
to other clubs in the surrounding towns , cities and states.

In 2002 Double Cross played many of the local clubs and fairgrounds with the pride of knowing and feeling
they were the Top Country Band in the Rochester Area. The summer was fruitful, they opened for Rascal Flatts, Mark McGuinn,
Steve Azar and Keith Urban at the New York State Balloon Festival and played the Attica Rodeo where everyone wants to be a cowboy.
This same year Double Cross had player change in the drummer department and guitar player Jim Thompson headed for Oklahoma
with his wife Carol. We will miss them.

2003 has promised to be different and the start has shown us that it is true. The band has changed a bit and
people have been expressing what they think and some say its for the bad and others the better, hey we all have opinions and we
will never make everyone happy, but for us, we love it. We laugh at practice more then we ever had, and ideas are numerous. We
love to play and perform and that's the bottom line with us. Fun , fun, fun, that is the key. So if some of you really enjoy the New
Double Cross, then great! For those that really like it the other way, we apologize and say we hope you understand we all make
choices and changes and will never expect everyone to understand or always agree with it. Double Cross is moving forward and
hope to see all the fans joining us in the future. Darrell is singing more, Tom the new bass player is rocking along and Chris the
new drummer is pounding away like there is no tomorrow. Steve and myself (TW) are trying to keep things moving along with new
material ideas and jobs for the band. Our dreams are still the same and yeah, some vocals are different but hey, we are still the
bunch of fun loving guys we will always be. We hope that we will have many more to come and we know that you, the public, the
fans, are the ones responsible. We love you.
Double Cross has done it again... Great performance at the 1st Annual Finger Lakes Country Fest.
The boys opened for Ashley Gearing, Craig Morgan, Steve Azar and Sara Evans. They were great on stage,
everyone has complimented about there performance with the new members. How great it was to see Double Cross
back on the uphill climb. We are hoping that this band will rock Rochester like it always has. Estimation on the crowd
was about 6,000 people and they loved our boys... Mary & Wendy has sold out of the Shirts and done well on the other
merchandise... lets keep 'em coming....S&B Saloon in Avon is now selling our T-shirts in hopes to keeping all the fans supplied !
Double Cross has expanded its area further and further every year. We are trying manage a trip to Magic City Music Hall,
Binghamton for 2005 and hope that it will become a great venue. The Buffalo area is also looking at Double Cross to travel
in their direction in the coming months a head. Of course you can see Double Cross at your favorite places like:
The Jukebox, The Roost , The Gunsmoke and The Powers Inn.
2004 has been a great year so far. We have opened for 4 National acts including: Rodney Adkins, Michael Peterson,

in Canandagiua. The band is still kicking out some great covers and working on a few originals for a " Live" CD project. There is
nothing better then having a plan come together. Thanks to our fans it has been another great year. Thank you!
