hey all!! wow all of these stories rock!!! Anyway, I will share one of mine, ive seen them several times, but i cant think of anything good to tell...well here goes...its not that exciting, but i will share...ok..it had been like 2 years since id seen sandbox so i was very excited to see them again...and when my friend called and told me that they were playing with zuckerbaby at mrs robinsons in kitchener I was really really happy, until i found out that it was february 21st the same weekend that i had a ringette tournament in gloucester, near ottawa...so i bawled ( i know pathetic) but i couldnt help it cos I love sandbox and was upset to miss them..anyway, so then things started to look up a bit cos I found out that they were doing a show in barrymores on feb 20th in ottawa!!!! So i was like YAY i can go to the soundcheck and stuff ( I couldnt stay that long cos I had a game at like 6pm:( ) but anyway, so we got there ( i went with some ottawa friends who were going to see zuckerbaby) and sandbox's tour bus was pulling in to the very small alleyway thing...so i waved at mike and he looked at me like i was crazy for being there,but waved back, and that was that...( so im chicken and didnt talk to them right away) anyway, so we were just hanging around and just as we were about to sneak in the back door we heard voices, so we went back the other way, well it turned out it was paul and their little roadie guy rob or whatever so I said Hi and got him to sign my cds...and then talked to him for awhile...then after he left we went inside and were just intime for their soundcheck!! I was happy to hear them play FINALLY! of course soundchecks arnt very long, but they played ...to red, if i tell, the spectre and part of carry, and then i had to leave...:( of course the pictures that i took didnt turn out cos i was too chicken to go right up front and take some...but all in all it was a good day!!! anyway, there is my not too exciting story.
