What Is Anarchy?

Here's a short little description of what anarchism is all about, I wrote this as a letter to the Globe & Mail because they were using anarchy as a synonym for chaos. But of course they didn't publish it, that would be commiting the crime of actually printing something truthful in a mainstream newspaper that wasn't complete state capitalist propaganda.

Anarchists do not promote violence, they are very anti-violent by nature, in their opposition to war, homophobia, racism, sexism, poverty, and other inequalities. Anarchists realize that capitalism and the governments that keep it intact only serve the interests of the extremely rich. Anarchists want a classless society, where people are equal, and production is for the people, not for profit. A society of diverse individuals who have united and no longer hate people who are not like them. A society where there is complete freedom of thought, freedom of movement, freedom of expression. They want to protect people, as well as the environment from exploitation. Anarchists want to abolish all forms of tyrannical authority, in government, as well as in the workplace. This is hardly chaotic or violent, this is utopia. This is what anarchists want to achieve.
