Though I did have a ticket already for the 31st from
the Fukuoka Ticket peer it was only a first floor ticket and having seen
the size of Tokyo Dome I wanted to get into the Arena again. This was the
only time I ever bought a ticket from the more or less illegal ticket vendors
(Dafuya) that are hanging around at every major concert in Japan.
I learned only later that such vendors are not very
nice guys and after this I never bought a ticket from them again (laugh)...
But anyway, thanks to these vendors I managed to get into the arena.
Except for other costumes (since today was the white
night) and a different arrangement of the menu the concert was the same
as the day before, however concerning the atmosphere and the energy of
X the 31st was even better than the 30th...!!
I did not mention this in the report from the 30th
(because I thought I have nothing much to write about the 31st anymore
if I tell everything on the 30th report!(laugh)) but the Blue and White
night were the first times that X performed "Dahlia", "Longing" and "Scars"
on stage!!! At that time "Scars" was still called "Scars on Melody"...
very good!!!
Like the day before one of the highlights was the
unplugged performance of "Rose of Pain"... dream...
Hide chan did "Celebration" in his "hide no heya"
together with Pata and the dancers and since this was remembering me of
the Psychommunity Tour it was a very great event to see the hide chan version
of "Celebration" to be performed on such a huge stage like Tokyo Dome!
There is one more special thing about the Blue and
White night... at the entrance before getting into the Dome every visitor
was handed a cassette. That cassette contains the first version of "Longing",
still with different verses... not "I'll sing without you..." but "I'll
be without you..." I personally prefer this version of "Longing" and not
the one the was pressed on CD later. Since I went both days I got two cassettes,
but I gave one to a friend who could not come to the concert because she
was lying in hospital at that time, so I have only one left... Last time
I was in Tokyo I saw this cassette in some J-rock shop and it sold for
9000 Yen!!! And we got it for free when we went to the Blue and White Nights!!!
So this was my first time of X... many Japanese fans
always asked me which hide chan I like better, the hide chan of his solo
works or the X hide chan... I cannot answer that! (laugh)... they are different,
but since I am always hide chan freak I cannot and don't want to judge!!
(laugh)...
