Meanwhile my time in Fukuoka was over (tears) and
I had returned to Germany, but during Christmas and New Year I just had
to go to Japan again! (laugh)... So I went for two weeks holidays to Japan.
A friend of mine had ordered Tokyo Dome two days tickets already, but I
did not have a ticket for the Osaka Christmas live again! Anyway I went
to Osaka by train and straight to Osaka - Jo Hall. At the station closest
to the hall (don't ask me the name of the station , I forgot! (laugh))
the first cosplay X fans were hanging around and I went straight to them
and asked them whether they have a ticket left, and guess what! They did!
So I got my ticket right away!
It was a very windy and cold day and there was a
small coffee shop close to the hall and there we were hanging around all
the time. I changed from normal to cosplay in the toilet of that coffee
shop! (laugh) Was very funny!
Today's concert was special for two reasons, it was
Christmas! And it was a charity live for the victims of the big Kobe earthquake
from the 17th of Jan. 1995. When the freezing fans including myself were
finally allowed to get inside the hall there was "Jingle bells" songs waiting
for us and a Christmas Laser show with Santa Clauses and deer and so on!
Not very much X - like but again funny funny... the concert was supposed
to start at 18:00 and I had booked a night bus back to Tokyo that was leaving
at around 22:15 from Osaka station, since X does concerts of 3 or 3 and
a half hours I thought I would make it in time... but... it was getting
19:00 and X still did not appear! Then short after X finally got on stage
and started! There were no screens in Osaka-Jo hall (about 10.000 visitors)
and though being in the rear part of the Arena I had a pretty good view...
The highlights were surely Heath's solo and hide
chan's solo. At Heath's solo he smashed his bass and played with the guests
in the front row and then one of the fans grabbed his bass and took it!!!
(laugh)... Heath was a little startled but then he went on with his performance
not wanting the bass back... I am very envious of the person who got Heath's
bass!!! (laugh). Hide chan did "Celebration" of course since it was Christmas!
Later at the second encore I think X mounted the stage in Santa Clause
Suits! They all threw their Santa Clause suits into the audience and again
I am very envious of the one who got hide chan's Santa Clause suit!!! (laugh)...
Since this was a charity live for Kobe earth quake
victims there was an event in between where Yoshiki gave some representatives
from several Kobe schools pianos... lovely lovely...
Since the concert had started only after 19:00 it
was getting closer and closer to the time my buss would depart from Osaka
station! I waited and waited... one more song... one more song... but finally
I had to leave the concert before it was finished, because I had no money
for a hotel in Osaka or for the return to Tokyo if my ticket would get
invalid! At that time I was still a poor student you know! It was the first
time I cried at an X concert, because I had to leave before it was finished...
tears... Time was very short for my buss and still in cosplay I ran through
Osaka to meet the buss! Guess how people were staring! (laugh)... I arrived
5 minutes before the buss left, completely exhausted and got on board still
in cosplay! (laugh)... but all in all it was the most beautiful Christmas
I ever had!
