So next trip was Shizuoka.
being not so far away from Tokyo it was easy to get there and I got into
a taxi and went to the hall early as usual. I met a few kids from Niigata
again and we were hanging around together till the concert started.
I had a damn good seat, pretty
close to the stage on the left hand side of it. Quite close to my seat
there was a substage, some passage reaching from the stage a little into
the hall and indeed at Oblaat hide chan came running over to our side!
He had a water pistol with him and splashed the water in our direction
and I managed to get close enough to get wet! (laugh). Of course the hall
was always in panic mood when hide chan came running to the substages!!
I got pretty wet and thanx to that we all cooled off a little! (laugh).
Then hide chan was talking and finally I understood some of what he said!
He said that he had done only one concert in Shizuoka before during his
Saber Tiger times and that at that time there were only 9 visitors to the
concert! And that he had never thought Shizuoka would turn out to be such
a nice place and that he really enjoyed this concert and that we were really
a great audience! Very happy! (laugh)
But the absolute highlight
of this evening was "Lassie". Shizuoka was the only place where a real
dog came on stage! A very cute dog, somehow like a Collie, but with short
legs! (laugh)... A really cute dog! And hide chan wanted to make the dog
bark! He said something like: "let's see if he barks" and held his microphone
in front of the dog's nose, but instead of barking the dog sniffed on the
mike very interested! (laugh) So he did not do hide chan the favor to bark
and hide chan took his mike back laughing and said "muri ka na", which
means "impossible, ugh?". Of course the fans (including me) were freaking
and it was really a great concert! There is an expression in Japanese "moriagatta",
it means something like: "great atmosphere, the audience was freaking"
or something like that, there is no real good translation for the feeling
of moriagatta... but on this day the band as well as the audience really
did moriagaru! (laugh)... Concerning the atmosphere and the fun the Shizuoka
concert was the best of the five Psyence a GoGo concerts I have seen!
