SiVOC BBQ 1998

On the 19th December 1998, the SiVOC proudly presented our first ever BBQ ! This BBQ is meant to promote more communication between the members and ...*trash talk* so that we.... *censor off* in the future we *more trash talk* next year. *cut off more crap* We will definately plan more stuff in the future. Stay tuned !

Now, we will go through the events by time-frame method.

1145	I went to the wet market and ordered $10 worth of mee hoon.
1200	I meet Jun Ming and Kyo at Ang Mo Kio Funland. We went to NTUC to shop. Almost faint when Jun Ming and Kyo doesn't know that we need $1 coin to operate a shooping cart. Then we ran into the wrong section, finding panties and pads looking at us. We freaked out and went for chicken wings. Bumped into a section which sells lots of BBQ stuff. Jun Ming starts bugging me about pinic ham. Kyo and me went to shop 'n' save to get the chicken wings, hotdogs and sweet potato, leaving Jun Ming in NTUC with the loaded cart. Finally found the garlic spread at Tops. By 1.30, we took a taxi to my home.
1400	Started processing the food, wash the sweet potatos, stick the hotdogs etc. Until 1700, could we finally finished the processing. The work certainly pissed of Jun Ming, who vowed never to volunteer again. The heavy rain stops too.
1700	Say hi to everyone at Ang Mo Kio Funland and herded them over. 4 more people turned up unexpectedly so I had to balance 2 more packs of food on my bicycle. We bought the pinic ham in the end.
1800	Starts the fire.	The others hang around waiting.
1830	First taste of food from the pit. So folks got bored of waiting and ate them raw. *yiaks !*	Meanwhile, I went around and asked how was the food...you can see how they ( You Neng, Ming Hong) responded...hey...isn't that an international symbol of...love ?
	Some folks got so bitterly disappointed that they went crying why they have to pay to eat all this crap.
1930	The pit had already attracted a horde of people waiting for their dinner. Gosh, the kids really know how to eat.	Now this is going out of hand, look at the queue there.
2030	Ming Hong takes out his BB gun ( which happens to be made of sweet potato ) out and struck the pose of secret agent 007 while Han Wei goes in for the kill.	As thing progresses, everyone had a good time. We got a bunch of guys talking about magic the gathering and another talking about virtual on tactics. hmm..all their hands getting itchy.
2130	Han Wei is now demostrating how to make garlic bread using that bottle of garlic spread. Oh god, he over heat the bread and it had started to burn !	Now, the piece of garlic bread is just a lump of glowing cancer causing agents. After he held it up like that, it fell to the ground, and went into pieces.
2200	BBQ ends, all goes to funland to play....what else...VOOT !
