It seems as though everyone is getting to experience Sega, the company has games coming out for all 3 systems in the coming months ahead. Although that is good gaming news, in yet another blunder by Sega, they "took" Shenmue II away from LOYAL Dreamcast fans, and are trying to make up for it by giving it to X Box, did I mention it won't be out for another year?

In news about Square, Sony CEI recently invested $124 million into square, making them the second-biggest shareholder and making the RPG maker's multi-platform future hazy. The President of Square, Hisashi Suzuki said "We are not necessarily obligated to Sony because of this deal. But we can gauge the situation in the future and offer software to the best selling hardware maker, and at this time there is no doubt that Sony is the best."

After the deal Ed Fries, VP of Microsoft's Games division said "They've (Square) been very interested in developing for the X Box, and they're still interested. The deal with Sony did not include Online plans they're creating."

Free internet gaming on SegaNet, Sega's Internet gaming service, is officially over. Since Nov. 1, if you want to play Sega's new games online, you have to pay $9.95 a month. This affects both new and old releases on the Dreamcast. With the exception of some older Visual Concepts games and the Original Phantasy Star Online. Stop by Sega.com for more info.

Microsoft's J Allard, platform general manager for Microsoft's X Box,spoke earlier this month about the company's plans to take their console online. "We want to create an X Box world where you sign up once and it works across all games," Allard said, "and we're going to buy a lot of servers and online acreage to create this world." Allard also stated that people will be able to use their existing broadband connections with X Box servers and store personal information on them to create an online persona. Microsoft plans to have five or six games up and running by the Summer of 2002, and 20 by years end.

In Sony's corner, the network adapter originally slated for a November release has hit some delays. "We haven't announced a new date for it yet," Sony PR Manager Charlotte Panther said of the adapters release. Until then, Tony Hawk 3 players cam use a USB modem, other games may not work this way however, so the sooner the adapter is released the better.

Heard of the Deluxe Gamecube? probably not since it's not coming to America, this "deluxe" version can play DVD movies, and will be called the "Q", it will go on sale on Japan on Dec. 14 for about $330.
