The NHWC was founded by Gary Shively and William Adams.This club was formed to serve as meeting place for players who enjoy the Talonsoft games BGW, NIR, PTW.This club will strive to provide; through a mandatory set of rules, a more historic wargaming experience for members.NHWC will strive to be more than just a point's ladder but a way to participate and recreate as much as possible historic battlefield conditions. This club is at all times an open medium of discussion concerning the club itself or anything Napoleonic.

The mandatory rule's system is designed to "encourage" players to use correct tactics, but as a result of using the rules it is hoped that the player is shown an appreciation for the proper tactics and difficulties experienced on the Napoleonic battlefield. Let it be understood that the rule's system is in no way perfect, but with continued development through member participation the club mission will be accomplished.Do not hesitate to contact us on any subject involving the club, or with any questions or comments about the rules.Member participation is not only encouraged,but is considered an essential part of membership.

When a new member joins he or she will be assigned to an army if one is not requested on the new member registration page, but he or she does not have to play within that army's nationality alone. Example: If a player is assigned to the Prussian army, he or she may issue or accept challenges to be the French,English,Russian,etc. In any given game if a member prefers to play as the French in one game and the Russians in another by all means do so.

Once your member registration form is sent, you will receive a new member welcome packet containing the mandatory game rules,victory conditions and score tracker. Feel free to post a game challenge once your new member form is sent.New members do not need to wait for membership approval, for everyone who sends in a member registration will accepted to the club.Once again this club is an open forum to all who join.

Starting your first game within the club

For those of you who are already NWC members you may register your games with this club provided that our game rules are used.The forum this club uses for its members to post challenges to other members is the bravent button to the left.Once an opponent is found use the hyperlinks on the right colummn to register any games with this club for points.The New SP game simply means that the game will be a single player game,one player per side.The new MP game means multiple players for each side.
