I'm sorry for the lack of updates, unfortunetly (or fortunately) I have a lot of work and very little time left for shaping the new layout of the site and creating graphics for the pages. I will possible add some Java navigation menus in addition to the conventional image maps. The following projects are currently in progress:

a) Rendered graphical logo
b) JAVA buttons, scrolling marquee
c) Lara model in 3D Studio MAX 2 format
d) Trainer (yes, a trainer) for Tomb Raider 3

The trainer will feature unlimited life, that is, protection against fire and poisoning, but will not protect you against "instant death" bosses (Puna and the Spider Monster). Currently, the trainer prevents Lara from being damaged by rolling blades, however TR3 will consider that you are dead anyway and will not let you save the game from that point (or load another save game). An interesting feature of the trainer: when I tested the trainer and wanted to skip to the next level from the Temple of Puna, I made a mistake while performing the level skip cheat (I drew the Desert Eagle instead of the pistols) and Lara blew up... and yet SHE WAS ALIVE BUT COMPLETELY INVISIBLE!!!! AND NOW SHE WAS INVULNERABLE TO PUNA'S DEATH RAY.
The trainer will also feature an 'unlimited air' option.

The Level Editor Poll is now closed. Thanks for voting and making it clear that a level editor is not only a whim of some Tomb Raider geeks. The final results are:

Do you think Core should release a level editor for TR3?

Yes (124) 89%
No (9) 6%
Not sure (7) 5%

I picked up my copy of Tomb Raider III on 2nd December here in Hungary. Now I am in the Meteor Cavern... and due to the fact that my timing was bad when I hit the F5 key to save the game before I tried to defeat the big boss I have to replay most of the previous level. So far my favorite locations are London and Area 51.

Now I am more cautious, and do not promise an update within a week, but it does not mean that it will be absolutely pointless to check back. I might have some surprises up in my sleeve.

Now, here is another poll:

Tomb Raider 3 Opinion Poll

What's your opinion after playing Tomb Raider 3?

Very good. It fits in well with the Tomb Raider line of games and maintains the feel of the original.
Not bad, but despite the promise of more exploration instead of more fight, the game seems to develop into a first person shooter.
A souped up remake of the original with nice looking but not deep cutting new features.
The last sqeeze on my money pouch. They won't fool me again.
Absolutely the worst Tomb Raider game so far.

Any comments or suggestion concerning the website will be most welcome.

There is no news about the Tomb Raider movie, although unconfirmed scoops report that the draft script was rejected and a second draft is currently in development.

My personal preference regarding the actress for the role of Lara changed from Liz Hurley to Diane Lane. Although she is not British and her accent would not be that of a British aristocrat, I could easily imagine her in Lara's 'Londoner' outfit.
