GAME DESCRIPTION

(From psmax.com)
"Last year, Accolade brought us Test Drive 5 and racing fans received with the a few complaints, but overall the game was well-received. Well, Accolade's back this year with an all new version in Test Drive 6. After playing a bit of the demo at E3, Test Drive 6 looks to fix the few problems in the previous incarnation.

Perhaps the best improvement in this game is the car physics In Test Drive 5, the cars handled sluggishly, a bit like driving through a bowl of jello. This newest version has a much improved physics engine and the cars handle beautifully. More more realistic. The graphics have been greatly improved as well. The shadowing, lighting, and reflective effects on the cars and surrounding environments deliver an eye-popping graphic experience. The AI has also been improved, giving each computer controlled opponent the ability to react differently in different situations.

There will be the normal racing modes such as tournament, single race, and a new head to head Pink Slip mode in the vein of Need For Speed: High Stakes. Other differences include the addition of multi-cop chases where more than one cop may be chasing you or multiple chases will occur at once. Police Helicopters will track you at night.

Pitbull's Test Drive crew is well known for great sounds and music in it's games. Test Drive 6 will be no different. New environment specific sounds will trigger different sound events based on the section of the track you are on and the expected soundtrack will feature original music by popular bands.

Featuring over 40 unique cars with multiple color combinations and 30 new tracks that span the globe, Test Drive 6 looks like a vast improvement over TD5. All in all, Test Drive 6 is a title that all fans of the arcade racing genre should look out for. "
