" The Accolade/Pitbull team is well known for putting out high-quality racing titles under the Test Drive name. That history is going to be repeated with Test Drive Offroad 3. Adding to the off road tradition of the series, TDO3 offers deeper gameplay in the form of modifying vehicles allowing gamers to create that perfect truck for each track. Tinker with the transmission. Tweak the suspension. And Twiddle with the tires. These are just a few of the options available to you. Perpetuating the diversity of racing experiences, TDO3 will offer 15 different tracks in real world locations with point to point and circuit racing layouts. This new installment will also feature 30 licensed off-road vehicles including the trademark Hummer by AM General. Making a first time appearance in the series is the Off-Highway Patrol Mode where cops will try to chase ya down offroad. That should provide for some interesting races.

The game engine is full 3D and a brand new physics model has been employed to create a more realistic experience. The demo running at E3 displayed how this new Test Drive Offroad will require a bit more skill development than the mash and gas drive style of the previous installment. The trucks handle much more realistically and require additional countrer-steering and drift compensation. And as we've come to expect from Accolade's Test Drive series this title will feature a licensed sountrack from current popular artists. If you are a fan of the offroad racing series, or if you are just looking for something new in the tired world of racing games, check out Test Drive Offroad 3 this fall.
