The Top Row of thumbnails are of my gaming group and I (and children) setting up and playing the Practice Game for the 1st Annual Cow Town Turkey Hunt, which was held at Fall-IN! 1998, Gettysburg, Pa.  The bottom row is the actual convention event.  A good time was had by all who attended.

The Fall-In event, which succeeded in spite of not being on the program (and this with plenty of advance notice from me, ahem...), and being placed in what is essentially a utility room with sheets on the walls.  I had to go around soliciting players, but had no problem getting about 6 guys who wanted to play.

The Practice Run, which I held at my house, was very raucous.  We played pretty late, and things got chaotic as the players forgot the agenda and just "commenced ta killing"!  Bob (for once) kept a cool head and mopped everyone up by actually paying attention to the victory conditions and gathering the most turkeys.  Who would have figured that?

Stampede??? No thanks, Just had one!

"While I'm in here, hand over the loot, okay?"

The hat, the dazed grin, and the empty expresso cups all mean 1 thing: Bob won the Turkey Hunt

"Never turn your back on the train... you don't know who might be on it!"

"Daddy's Got that Weird Glow in his eyes again, Mom!"

"Rick shot the Sheriff, but not the dep-u-ty! Bad Luck ol' bean"

"Run into a herd of skittish longhorns to get a turkey? Sure!"

"It wouldn't be a decent game without some homicidal coolies in it"

"Some day, son, all this will be yours... hey, try to stay awake, willya?"

Start of the Great Cow Town Turkey Hunt, Fall-In 98... Say, how about those classy accommodations, huh?

Look, I know it's late, but you violated the Code of the West, Okay?
