Ok, theres nothing to be ashamed of. Every one of us has cheated every now and again. Some more than others. Personally, I like to you cheats when I play the game for the first time, to fully test the game. Then, when I feel I know enough, I play from scratch, no cheats. But there are also people who cheat no matter how well they know the game, which I think removed all the fun from the game, thus people lose interest very quickly. Where's the challange in killing a boss when he can't lay a scratch on you? No challange at all. Even so, I still decided to put this page up, for the wimps among us.
Cheats
DNKROZ - God/Invincibility mode. Also unlimited jetpack.
DNSTUFF - Get everything. Ammo, all weapons, Holoduke, keys, etc.
DNSCOTTY### - Skip to Episode #, level ##. eg, to skip to level 9, episode 3 = DNSCOTTY309
DNCLIP - Walk thru walls.
DNCASHMAN - Press space to throw money.
Hints
1. First of all, try to move around a lot. You have no idea how horrible aliens aim when you're moving.
2. If you're trying to destroy a group of monsters that can't get to you, but are too dangerous to get too close to, try pressing 6 (pipe bomb) and press your fire key. Don't set it off, but press 6 again, and throw a pipe bomb again. This way, you can throw as many pipe bombs as you want, and when you're happy, press the trigger, and they all go off. Great in deathmatch when your'e try to trick your opponent.
3. NEVER turn your back to a monster. Chances are you'll drop quicker than you can say "Hail to the King, Baby".
4. If one of those aliens that fly get in your hair from above, try to shelter yourself underneath some low roof. He'll probably lower himself, and then you'll have an easy target.
5. Save often, especially if the music is suspenseful :-)
6. When using jetpack, especially if you're high above ground, NEVER press the J key. You'll have a nasty encounter with the floor.
7. If you're a really bad player, use cheats.
