Hikibi Ryouga
Also Known as "The Eternal Lost Boy"
Hibiki means "noise" or "village sound," Ryouga means "healthy teeth."

Ryouga is my second favorite boy character on Ranma 1/2. Ryouga's connection with Robert Knapton is explained later.

Profile

Ryouga and Ranma went to the same high school; Ranma became Ryouga's enemy over pieces of bread for lunch. From then on, Ryouga has been trying to battle Ranma and kill him wherever he ends up in the world. Ryouga chased Ranma from school to China where Ranma trained. Ryouga has a problem finding the place he tries to go, and this made him always one step behind Ranma. Fortunately, Ryouga finds Ranma at Furinkan high school.

During Ryouga's visit to China, he fell into the cursed spring of Jusenkyo and became a piglet. In the Tendo residence, Akane finds the piglet trying to hide from Ranma. As a result, Akane fell in love with the pig and named it P-Chan (cute pig in reverse). Ryouga falls in love with Akane, but she does not know that P-Chan=Ryouga. Ryouga is always lost and he is frustrated that Akane is never near, but she is.
