Grabbing tight to the
laboratory cardkey, Ada inserted it into the slot beside the door.
A sense of impending doom slit her as the door slid open.
She entered the experimental lab and gasped in horror as Leon was
enclosed in a glass chamber. He
seemed to look different and was apparently unconscious.
A look on the screen at the side had confirmed all her fears.
‘G-MUTATION_39.67% COMPLETE’ Ada felt a sudden pain, she thought it
was her unhealed wounds but it was the pain in the heart.
“What have I done…?” Ada
stared around at the control panel… she flipped open a certain cover on the
panel and revealed a blue button. “Please
forgive me, Leon…” Ada pressed the blue button… and suddenly, there was a
blinding white light which stabbed into her eyes.
When she recovered from it, Leon was now standing in front of her,
looking perfectly fine. In fact, he
was smiling at her! "Leon!" They ran and hugged each other and sank
into an ocean of joy… There was a
strange sound of burning inferno behind the white dreamscape they were in… but
they didn’t care. “It’s
over,” Ada thought…
