Description: Yuzuha is a demoness and the spirit of the Tree of Darkness. She spent most of her life in the Dimension of Darkness, venturing out only occasionally to find food. It was on one of these trips that she met Youshou, the young prince of Jurai, and he became her very first friend. It was love at first sight for Yuzuha, and the pair spent the summer festival of Startica together- however, the Juraian police discovered Yuzuha's true identity and banished her. Hurt and angry, Yuzuha vowed revenge on those who had taken away her only source of love. Several hundred years later, Yuzuha created a girl, Mayuka, using her DNA and Tenchi's and sent her to the Masaki household in order to get her revenge on Youshou. However, her plan backfired and nearly ended up destroying her. After that incident, Tenchi and the others took pity on her and allowed her to remain in the household. Her creator, the Tree of Darkness, was angry with her disloyalty and made several attempts to kill her, but each time it was defeated by Yuzuha and Youshou. Finally, using the powers granted to her through her new link to Funaho, Yuzuha destroyed the Tree in a battle that nearly cost her her life. She now resides in the Masaki household with Tenchi and the girls
