Saturday, March 14, 1998 - THRUST Update 3/14
Well, this week hasent been as productive as last. I'am currently working on
getting better AI on the monsters, some new textures / graphics and trying to
decide what version of DosDOOM Iam going to offically use!

Anyway, like I said, I have posted 4 of the music from THRUST at the new "DownLoad"
section page. Check them out and let me know what you think!

BTW, I might be moving this page to a new server. I'am thinking either,
DOOMWORLD, or DOOMNation. I'll keep ya posted on what happens.

Sunday, Febuary 29, 1998 - New Features!
Well, a couple of new things have been added to THRUST. First of all, the ablilty
to jump is being touched up right now. It seems though that there are still a
few bugs to work out though. Second, the first step in smarter monster AI has been
done! Monsters now continue to blast you repeatly instead of just taking a shot,
walking around and then taking another shot. (I have found it much harder to
get through the first level in DOOM II now...)

I'am still looking for a decent MOD/WAV libary. The ones that I have downloaded,
(like MIDAS) have bombed out on me, or are not compatible with Allegro. I have
found another sound libary that I gonna *try* to use...

I would like to extend many thank to people who have showen interest into this
big project! Wildman, The DOOMShack and Functional Enthropy. Thanks guys!



Saturday, Febuary 21, 1997 - MOD Music StAtUs
As you might have guessed, Iam currently working on rewriting the sound engine for
DosDOOM. Iam taking allegro sound out (because allegro cant play mods and raw files
at the same time) and inserting in its place, the MIDAS sound system.
Iam right in the middle of working on it and I just might have to port NTDooM back
to compatibily of Dos. Only because I dont have VC++...

NEW SCREEN SHOTS UP!
Iam sure you have gotten tired of looking at those old screen shots below at the end
of this page so, there are new shots up. You wont see any new graphics instead
of new flats and textures until I fix the sound code and start going back to
creating more graphics. ...any one care to help?? Email me!
