STRATEGIES
 [PAGE  1]
Here you can get all the strategies that you will need to kill all your enimies that you couldn't beat before. This is almost a guarantee, this is almost because we can not predict the enemies moves during the game, you will have to adapt to their moves and know what to do when they make a sertain move.  We will try our damdest to help you get through this as best we can.  I have broken the one page down to six pages so the page will load faster and smoother.

Intro

Although I’m not yet an expert on all the strategic elements of the game, I have divided my humble knowledge in areas that I think are important.  If I have forgotten anything that you think is important, email me by using the main page.

Taxes
Taxes are an important factor in the course of a game.  The tax rate to use will depend on your map, and if you are registered or not.  If you want a rate that provides you with good money off the first, a 59% tax rate is the most effective.  It is necessary to change the rate to 0% once in a while, normally every sixth or seventh turn.  Slow growth in the cities, but a reasonable income requires a 47% tax rate.  To have no growth or decline in your population, a 55% tax rate is the rate you are looking for.  0% in a few cities is good for metros, either for unregistered players, or fast tech advances.  More on this topic in Research.
Base Placement
The most important thing you do.  The entire game centers around where your base is.  Placing it near mines or cities helps fast expansion early in the game, however, it has severe implications later on.  An opponet’s factory ina city next to your base is a deadly thing.  A good idea is to place your base one square away, or put porcs in the surrounding cities/mines.  Generally, try to place your base where you can get many cities and mines off the first.  Chose forest over desert, because building road on a desert only gives you a trail, which costs 2 movement points.  However, building road on a forest actually gives you a road, only costing one movement point.  Normal forest (or desert) costs 3 movement points, but building a road only costs $2, and greatly aids expansion.
A transport and 2 of either a bulldozer or soldier is good for expanding.  If you take 2 bulldozers, take one soldier and vice versa.  Another good combo is a transport, truck, bulldozer, and soldier.  SuperClan’s strategy pages have more on this.
