Actually that's false!
The routine for sex only tests three parameters (the routine itself will happen in any situation as long as the norn isn't dead)
The three parameters that sex checks for are:

-The norns must be of opposite sex
-The norns must have a sex drive over 128
-The norn's age must be over the age of 0

2. "I'd like to know if the Creatures Win 3.1 Version has been released, and if I can play Creatures with my "old" 486 DX2/66."

Well Yea you "can" play Creatures on a 486 DX2/66 and yea it runs fine in the begginning but it will slow to a crawl if there are more than 3-4 norns in the world, or if there are lots of applets open.
