The rank of Bladesman is awarded to any Clan member who has distinguished themselves in combat and has scored 50 plus confirmed kills.

The Bladesman is a distinguished warrior of middle rank. Whilst demanding the respect of his sub-ordinates, he is a trusted member of the Clan, and has proven himself in combat.

The duties of the Bladesman primarily lie in performing well in combat. It is each Bladesman duty to practice his skills to the utmost so that when the need arises, he can smite his enemy without the loss of his own life or any under his immediate command. He has the authority to lead a small party of Clan members into battle, but is never permitted to carry out a major intrusion or action without the prior consent of a Blade Master. If he finds himself under attack, the Bladesman has the authority to rally any Swordsmen or Men at Arms to his cause for defensive purposes only. He is not to lead these men into any planned offensive situation without authorisation from his superiors.

If the Bladesman brings the Clan into disrepute or dis-honour from any direct action that he undertakes, the Bladesman can be asked to surrender his (or her) blade and be demoted. Depending on the level of dis-honour bought against the Clan, would decide how far he is demoted. However, if he performs extremely well in the field and brings honour to the Clan and to himself, he can be rewarded with a citation, or in extreme cases, an honourary promotion.
