When Painting and Modelling, there are a few tools that you will need. You do not need all of these (I don't have them all), but they all have their uses.
Brushes
Brushes are used for painting your models. It is best that you have a Standard, Fine detail and a Drybrush, and for scenery it is handy to have a large brush from a D.I.Y store.
Paints
Paints are essential for painting your models and scenery. We use Games Workshop Acrylic paints as they are the best we've found anywhere.
Glue
You need glue to stick together your models. Super Glue is used for sticking metal to metal, metal to plastic and jut about everything else. Plastic glue is used to stick together plastic to plastic.
Knife
A Modelling Knife is useful for removing parts from sprues and removing mould lines. Make sure you cut away from your body when cutting though.
Saw
Modelling saws are useful for chopping arms and large parts off models when doing conversions.
File
Modelling files are very useful for removing those mould lines and odd bits of flash from your model.
Clippers
Clippers seem to have many uses, the most common is just clipping parts off sprues, but you always find bits here and there that need clipping.
Sculpting Tool
A sculpting tool is useful for sculpting those extras you add with green stuff, or anything else you use green stuff for.

Is there anything you would like to add or a section/technique you think should be added to the modelling guide? why not send us an email about it. We will add anything we think is useful.
