Before you prime your figure, you will need to remove the mould lines left by the moulding process. This will only take a couple of minutes and effect the whole appearance of the model when painting. Areas such as bald heads and smooth areas of armour definitely need doing. Simply get a file or knife and take off the mould line. And that's just about it! you can get on and paint your models.
When using a knife make sure you cut away from yourself.
