Faces.
Faces can be very daunting to paint when you are a beginner, but really it only takes time rather than skill to paint an effective face. This way is the way we paint faces for our troops as it is quicker, for the more professional technique see the Veteran section, but we suggest learning this technique before the next. To start with, paint the whole face with Elf Flesh, don't worry if you paint the eyes and mouth because you can go back to that. Now mix Bestial Brown with quite a bit of water to make it like a wash (if you don't know if you have enough, add more water to test it on the face rather than less as it will be easier to remove). Now simply highlight the face with Elf Flesh, and then once again with Elf Flesh mixed with a little white. Now it's up to you to decide whether to paint the eyes.
